To help celebrate 25 years of Truckfest, the UK’s premier trucking experience, Corgi has announced an exclusive sponsorship deal for 2007.

The package includes support of four of Truckfest’s major events, as well as a brand new award category, ‘Best Fleet Livery’, and represents a natural progression of the already close relationship between Corgi and Truckfest. Not only has Corgi attended the shows for many years but since 2005, has produced a specially commissioned range of Truckfest models.

Jill Edwards, Marketing Manager – Collectables at Corgi, said: “Truckfest are the must attend events in the trucking calendar so we are delighted to be sponsoring four of its major venues during its anniversary year. And with Corgi renowned for its reproductions of eye-catching trucks, the ‘Best Fleet Livery’ was the perfect award for us to get involved in. We can’t wait to see some of the fantastic designs which brighten up the UK’s roads, and they might also prove useful inspiration for future Corgi pieces!”
